A school closure is disruptive to the families, staff, and neighborhood and greater surrounding community. What long term value do you anticipate this having? Does that outweigh the impact it will have on those being impacted by the closure? Until you can demonstrate how a school consolidation can improve rather than cause harm, then it's not right to close the school in this manner.
