What happens to the families that have an administrative transfer to Mesa after realizing our neighborhood school was not a good fit for our twins. They are thriving and this closure would force them to change schools for their 5th grade year. One year at a random school, and then a big shift to middle school is a LOT of change for these kids and their families. There was talk of phasing, by making Mesa 3rd, 4th, & 5th grades and K-2 at Bear creek. That makes more sense to me than just sudden and unnecessary upheaval to so many kids.
